TEMPLO: What kind of images do you create/capture?
Nathan Perkel: I love photographing people and their artifacts.
T: How did you get started?
NP: I was the kid in my crew of skate homies with a huge backpack full of cameras and flashes.
T: What kind of camera do you enjoy using most?
NP: At the moment I feel most comfortable with my main digital camera but I’m missing my 501C.
T: What is the most indispensable tool you use besides your camera?
NP: My bod.
T: What do you enjoy most about what you are doing?
NP: The opportunity to look into a wide range of different peoples lives.
T: What is your biggest challenge?
NP: Self control
T: What is your current inspiration?
NP: Winter light
T: Have you recently learned something that you are able to utilize in your work?
NP: Helped instal some French doors in the studio and built a printer stand. You tube is amazing.
T: What do you like to listen to while you work?
NP: A patchwork of everything but today was mostly Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe and Juicy J.
